Holley, Lyndonville booters earn G-R All-Star honors

Holley senior Samanatha Barniak and Lyndonville sophomore Aubrey Lewis have both earned spots on the Genesee Region League girls soccer All-Star team.
Barniak led Holley in scoring with 6 goals and 4 assists.
Lewis scored 7 goals and added 3 assists for Lyndonville.

Holley also had six players receive Honorable Mention including senior Taylor DeSimone, juniors Riley Sanger (2 goals, 2 assists) and Brittany Shattuck, sophomores Ryley O’Mara and Heather Winkley and freshman goalie Maddy Papaj (57 saves).
Lyndonville had three Honorable Mention selections including seniors Gabby Dusett (8 goals, 2 assists) and Rebekah Hoffee and sophomore goalie Makenzie Muck (184 saves).
Barniak, DeSimone, Dusett and Hoffee all participated in the Exceptional Seniors game on Sunday at Cal-Mum which saw the G-R League play to a 1-1 tie with the Finger Lakes League.
