Holley, Kendall tie in G-R girls track

Rivals Holley and Kendall battled to a 70-70 tie in a Genesee Region League girls track meet Wednesday at Wheatland-Chili.

In the other portion of the girls meet Kendall defeated W-C 73-67 and W-C downed Holley 70-62.

Emily Radford was a double winner for Holley in the 800 and 3000.

Lexi Payton doubled in the 400 hurdles and high jump and Tania Arellano in the triple and long jumps for Kendall which also had Jenna Jacob win the 100, Jessica Hofer the pole vault and Sara Pienaszceck the 400.

In the boys competition, Holley defeated Kendall 103.5-36.5 and W-C 90-50. W-C also downed Kendall 73-64.

Matt DeSimone won the 200, 400 and long jump for Holley.

Brandon Lewis doubled in the 100 and 200 for Kendall and also teamed up with Paul Urquhart, Nick Nance and Joey LoSapio to win the 400 relay.
