Holley, Kendall booters post road wins

Holley and Kendall both posted road victories today in Genesee Region League boys soccer action.

Holley blanked Pembroke 4-0 and Kendall edged Byron-Bergen 2-1.

Gabe Mendoza and Andrew Cary each scored a pair of goals to spark the attack for Holley which is now 1-1 in the league and 4-1 overall.

Carey, Derek McArthur and Justin Parker each chipped in with an assist for the Hawks.

Jake Adams scored a goal in each half to lead Kendall past Byon-Bergen as the Eagles improve to 1-1 in the league and 2-3 overall. Brayde Moyer earned the assist on the game winning goal.

Kendall next hosts Holley at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday.

N-O Boys Soccer

The Wilson at Medina Niagara-Orleans League boys soccer makeup game was postponed again when officials failed to show for the contest at Vets Park.

Field Hockey

Wilson win tourney title

Wilson defeated Sacred Heart 3-1 this afternoon in the championship game of the Kenmore field hockey tournament.

Tourney MVP Erin Boyle, Courtney Wheeler and Rachael Cobo took turns scoring the goals for Wilson which improves to 6-0-1.
