Holley, Kendall netters advance to Class C sectionals
Holley and Kendall both advanced singles and doubles players at the Genesee Region League Class C tennis sectional qualifier Thursday.
In singles, Holley’s Corey Winter took top honors by defeating Kendall’s Riley Iqbal 8-0. Holley’s Brandon Moore placed third with an 8-2 win over Byron-Bergen’s Rachel Sands. The top three finishers advance to the sectionals.
In doubles, the Kendall team of Mike Nundy and Anthony Washington downed the Holley duo of Brady Smith and Ian Penders. Both teams advance to the sectionals.
