Holley-Kendall team honors alumni wrestlers
Contributed Photos – The Kendall High School gym was filled with memories and excitement on Friday night as Holley-Kendall wrestling team celebrated their second annual alumni night. Alumni wrestlers from both schools gathered together to watch the H-K varsity wrestling team defeat Wilson 48-34. Long-time Kendall Coach Jim Sauberan is shown here with the alumni wrestlers in attendance.They include, by their year of graduation, 1976 – Wayne Pruner and Lon Smith, 1985 – Lee Requa, 1988 – Mark Porter, 1992 – Bill Silpoch, 1997 – Ashley John Grillo and Jerry Bishop, 1998 – Steve Kruger and DJ Blosenhauer, 1999 – Adam Grillo, 2002 – Adam Ezell, 2003 – Matthew Paeth, 2004 – Andrew Grillo, 2006 – JD Bauer, 2008 – Kenneth Ryan, 2012 – Sam Mauro, 2013 – Mike Silvis, Nick Winkley and Averey Igbal, 2015 – Lucas Silvis and Ray MacFarland, 2016 – Damian Schoenmaker and 2017 – Braxton-Leary-Hart, James Sharp, Brandon Stewart and Chad Miller.
