Holley, Kendall, Lyndonville girls downed
It was a tough night for Orleans County’s three Genesee Region League girls basketball teams as Holley, Kendall and Lyndonville all suffered setbacks.
Byron-Bergen downed Holley 41-25, Oakfield-Alabama bested Kendall 42-18 and Alexander topped Lyndonville 58-37.
Janessa Amesbury scored 19 to lead Byron-Bergen which was up 16-1 after the first quarter and 25-12 at the half.
Zoey Wolf scored 9 and Samantha Bates 7 for Holley which didn’t score from the field until midway through the second quarter.
Brooke Rodas scored 5 and Sophia Picardo 4 to lead Kendall which trailed 22-8 at the half.
Madison Boyce scored 16 and Alyssa Kramer 15 for Alexander which was up 26-15 at the half and 44-27 after three quarters.
Addison Dillenbeck scored 18 and Ashlee Stephens 13 to pace Lyndonville.
