Holley-Kendall host Duals Tourney; Roy-Hart, Albion have champions at Akron Tourney
Holley-Kendall hosted the Hawks annual Duals Tournament today as Tristyn Moyer went 5-0, Dawson Custer 4-1 including his 100th career victory, and James Fox 3-2.
Holley-Kendall defeated Campbell-Savona 42-27 but lost to Marcus Whitman/Penn Yan 64-18, Pioneer 84-3, Eastridge 48-30 and Cal-Mum 42-36.

Akron Tournament
Roy-Hart and Albion both had champions crowned at the Akron Tournament.
Roy-Hart got wins from Gavin Ciarfella (99) and Brett Ricker (113).
Ciarfella decisioned RaShawn Bloom (Medina) 2-0 in the semifinals and Cael Raines (Churchville-Chili) 5-2 in the finals.
Ricker pinned Travis Fry (Akron) in 4:56 in the semis and decisioned Connor Bell (Lyndonville) 7-3 in the title bout. Bell decisioned Yeshua Robles-Nunez (Albion) 7-0 in the semis.
Albion’s Cody Wilson won the 285 lb. title decisioning Jaden Heers (Newfane) 4-2 in the finals.
Wilson, who earned the tourney’s Most Outstanding Wrestler Award, decisioned Ryan Bitka (Amherst) 2-0 in the semifinals.
“Cody did just a remarkable job,” said Albion Coach Pat Uveino. “He wrestled very heady. He just did a great job, an awesome job.”
Bloom finished third for Medina as Dominic Callara and Miles Hartway both placed fourth.
Albion’s Amilcar Morales also placed fourth as did Lyndonville’s Rodney Davis.
