Holley-Kendall has Perry Tourney champion

Holley-Kendall’s Hunter Jewell-Smith earned first place honors in the 285 lb. weight class at the Perry Wrestling Tournament today.

Jewell-Smith registered four sub minute pins to advance to the finals where he pinned Andrew Kelly of Perry in 1:51.

Holley-Kendall also had two other top three place finishers as William Kruger took second at 152 and Immanuel Cornell third at 190.

Kruger had two pins and a decision win to advance to the finals where he dropped a 2-1 decision to Roman Smith of Byron-Bergen.

Caledonia-Mumford won the team championship.
