Holley junior advances in tennis sectionals
Contributed Photo – Holley junior Cavan Bennage went 3-1 on Saturday to take 3rd place at the Section V Class B2 Individual Sectional Championships. He has qualified to play at the Section V State Qualifier on May 18th at Brockport Central School. In his matches he defeated Xander Mapstone (Bloomfield) 10-0 in the prequarters and Adam Iantorno (Wellsville) 10-3 in the quarterfinals but lost to Matt Hockey (LeRoy) 10-5 in the semifinals. He rebounded to defeat Brent Knaisch (Addison) 10-0 in the consolation finals.
