Having lost 10 seniors to graduation and with only one senior and no juniors on the roster, Holley has a very youthful tennis squad this year.

Sophomores Cora Bennage, Brodie Wright, James Tette and Kirsstin Louise Althoff along with eighth grader Cavan Bennage head the lineup for the Hawks which went 6-8 last year.

“I have really been looking forward to this season as I recruited a lot of ninth and tenth grade athletes (23 on the roster with no juniors and only one senior),” said Coach Andrew Grillo.  “This season will to be a learning and building year so hopefully we will be very competitive in the seasons to come.”

Like all other area teams, the Hawks are waiting for schools, which are currently closed due to the coronavirus concern, to reopen so the schedule can begin.
