Holley has veteran softball lineup

Photo by Mike Wertman – Helping to anchor the Holley softball squad’s lineup this season is this quartet of returnees including Helana Mclean, Madison Papaj, Anna Brasted and Hannah Biedlingmaier.

A total of 10 returnees give Holley a veteran lineup heading into the upcoming Genesee Region League softball season.

A trio of junior pitchers including Hannah Day, Madison Day and Kassandra Norman, lead that veteran group which also includes seniors Brooklynn Bartholomew (shortstop), Hannah Biedlingmaier (second base/outfield), Anna Brasted (first base), Julianna Drewry (outfield), Helana Mclean (outfield), Ryley O’Mara (outfield/second base) and junior Madison Papaj (third base/catcher).

The Lady Hawks roster also includes juniors Hannah Bailey (outfield) and Brianna Colucci (infield) and sophomore Jocelyn Chilton (catcher).

“We’ve got quite a bit of experience back so we’re looking for an improved season,” said Coach Amy Ostrom.

Holley is scheduled to begin G-R competition at home against Oakfield-Alabama on April 3.
