Holley grad hurls NCCC to shutout win

Holley High graduate Kyle Bell hurled the Niagara County Community College baseball team to a 5-0 victory over Onondaga Community College today.

Bell, who is now 5-0 in the season, struck out 6 in 7 innings of work on the mound.

NCCC, which also took the second game of the doubleheader 12-4, is now 12-2 in the conference and 18-8 overall.

Softball

Onondaga Community Colllege swept to a doubleheader victory over the NCCC softball team today by scores of 7-3 and 13-4.

Medina High graduate Olivia Hermann had 2 hits and an RBI for NCCC in the opening game.

In the second game Newfane grads Jordan Beutal had 2 doubles and an RBI and Morgan Bedford a triple and an RBI for NCCC.

NCCC is now 5-11 in the conference and 7-17 overall.
