Holley golfers win rainy G-R opener
The Holley varsity golf team opened the Genesee Region League season win a 180-184 victory over Pembroke Monday.
The rain and sloppy course conditions didn’t bother Holley’s match medalist Cameron Bates, who turned in the lowest score of the evening at 9 over par. Senior Andrew Drechsel also scored well for the Hawks.
Holley will next take on Elba/Oakfield-Alabama tonight at Batavia Country Club.
