In a wild finish which saw a total of four goals scored in the final 11 minutes, Holley downed rival Kendall 4-2 in a Genesee Region League girls soccer game this evening at Holley.

Holley built up a 2-0 first half lead as Halee Passarell scored with 23:21 remaining and then Julia Smith tallied on a direct kick at the 12:41 mark.

The score remained the same until Kendall put together a late second half surge to suddenly pull even. Lizzy Woodams scored with just 11 minutes to go to ignite that Lady Eagles surge and Grace Levett followed up with a tally at the 7:38 mark to knot the contest.

However, Holley quickly answered that challenge as Oliva Radford scored just 41 second later off an assist from Rachel Killian to put the Lady Hawks back on top to stay at 3-2.

The Lady Hawks finally put a lock on the victory when Radford scored again with only 1:55 remaining to make the final 4-2.

Holley, which has now won 4 in a row overall improves to 4-2-2 in the league while Kendall slips to 6-2.

In another G-R contest, host Alexander scored in the final minute to nip Lyndonville/Medina 1-0.
