Holley girls score two track wins
Holley scored a doubleheader victory, 101-40 over host Oakfield-Alabama and 100-38 over Notre Dame, Wednesday in Genesee Region League girls track competition.
Improving to 2-2, the Lady Hawks were led by a trio of individual event double winners as Nicole Blackburn captured the high jump and 400 hurdles, Monica Merlau the 800 and 100 hurdles and Claudia Passarell the long jump and pole vault.
The Holley boys earned a split on the day defeating Notre Dame 67-65 but losing to Oakfield-Alabama 100-41.
Martin Beadle won both the 1600 and 3200 for Holley which is 2-2 on the season.
