Holley girls rally late to nip B-B in OT

Coming on strong down the stretch, Holley rallied to trim host Byron-Bergen 2-1 in overtime this evening in a Genesee Region League girls soccer game.

Holley rallied to tie the game at 1-1 on a goal by Samantha Bates with just seven minutes to go in the second half off an assist from Allyson Skehan.

The Lady Hawks then claimed the victory when Bates scored in overtime off an assist from Hayley Skidmore.

Improving to 6-1-1, Holley next host Alexander at 7 p.m. Monday.

Wheatland-Chili 5, Lyndonville/Medina 2

Up 2-1 at the half, host Wheatland-Chili went on to defeat Lyndonvllle/Medina 5-2 this evening in another G-R contest.

Lyndonville/Medina’s goals were scored by Ella Lewis and Gracie Johnson off an assist from Kaylee Nesbitt.
