Holley girls down Lyndonville

Snapping a season long seven league game losing streak, Holley downed visiting Lyndonville 24-18 this evening in a Genesee Region contest.

In another G-R game, Notre Dame downed visiting Kendall 67-40.

Sam Barniak had 11 points, 8 rebounds and 6 steals for Holley which also got 12 rebounds from Jade Underwood and 6 points from Tabitha Swift. Barniak hit two late free throws to help lock up the win for the Lady Hawks.

Aubrey Lewis scored 7 and Chelsea Poler 5 for Lyndonville.

Notre Dame 67, Kendall 40
A big 27-7 first period scoring surge proved to be the difference as Notre Dame went on to defeat Kendall 67-40.

Tania Arellano had 17 points for Kendall as Taylor Kingsbury and Taylor ReQua each added 7. Arellano and Kingsbury also both grabbed off 10 rebounds.
