Holley girls down Lyndonville/Medina

An early two goal scoring burst sparked Holley to a 7-0 victory over visiting Lyndonville/Medina in a Genesee Region League girls soccer game this evening.

Samantha Bates got Holley rolling by scoring twice within a spam of two minutes at the 30 and 28 minute marks of the opening half off assists first from Sara Kingdollar and then from Alivia Wolf.

The Lady Hawks went on to double their lead to 4-0 before halftime as Jailyn Bishop scored at the 20 minute mark from Zoey Wolf and then Caitlin Dobri tallied four minutes later off an assist from Alivia Wolf.

Alivia Wolf, Bishop and Tatum Gagne then each scored a goal in the second half to round out the Lady Hawks scoring.

Layne Walker made 3 saves to earn the shutout in goal for Holley which improves to 5-1-1 in the league and 7-2-2 overall.

Kendall 6, Alexander 1

Kendall scored three goals in each half to down host Alexander 6-1 and improve to 5-3-1.

Ava Quintern scored all three goals in the first half for Kendall.

Grace Levett then scored two goals and T’Mia Kitchings one in the second half for the Lady Eagles. Quintern, Hanna Broskin and Alezya Brown took turns dishing out assists during that stretch.
