Holley gains forfeit Homecoming football win
It wasn’t the way they wanted to celebrate Homecoming but Holley has picked up a forfeit win as Bolivar-Richburg does not have enough players eligible to play the Hawks in the 8 Man Division football game that was scheduled for 1 this afternoon.
Bolivar-Richburg informed Holley officials Friday afternoon that they did not have the required minimum of 12 players eligible for the game.
The forfeit win boosts Holley’s record to 4-0.
The Hawks had scored a 48-30 win at Bolivar-Richburg in the season opener.
Holley will next visit Frewsburg for a non league game at 5 p.m. Thursday.
