Holley captures Kendall Tourney title

Scoring in every inning, Holley shutout CG Finney 11-0 this afternoon in the championship game of the Kendall Tournament.

Dylan Hillabush and Josh Porter split the pitching duties for Holley combining on a 3 hitter with 9 strikeouts.

Jon Bower, Joe DeFelice and Patrick Bower each had 2 hits for the Hawks.

“It was good to get run production in every inning,” said Coach Jason Cole whose Hawks improve to 12-4 on the season.

In the consolation game, Gananda defeated Kendall 10-5.

Kendall did grab a 4-0 lead in the top of the third inning on RBI singles by Cody Spellan, Justin Barrett, Jesse Scarpulla and a run producing sacrifice by Colton Breslawski.

However, Gananda answered right back with four run scoring bursts in the home half of the the third and fourth innings to move on top to stay.
