Holley cagers edge Rochester Prep
Grabbing the lead at the end of each quarter, Holley posted a narrow 56-50 victory over visiting Rochester Prep this afternoon in a non league boys basketball game.
Patrick Bower poured in 23 points and grabbed off 11 rebounds to lead the way for the Hawks. Andrew Moseman added 14 points and Ryan Andrews 8.
Holley held leads of 10-6 after one period, 26-25 at the half and 41-34 at the three-quarter mark.
Bower scored six points in each of the last three quarters while Moseman made four clutch free throws in the final stanza.
On Friday, Holley dropped a 55-48 Genesee Region League decision at Attica as Bower scored 19 and Moseman 10.
