Holley booters rally past Pembroke

Coming from behind three times, Holley edged past host Pembroke 4-3 this afternoon in a Genesee Region League boys soccer game.

Dan Kozlowski scored what proved to be the game winner with six minutes remaining in the second half for Holley which rallied from deficits of 1-0, 2-1 and 3-2.

The Hawks had tied the game at 3-3 on a penalty kick goal by Andrew Cary.

Gabe Mendoza scored Holley’s first goal, off an assist from Derek McArthur. He also earned the assist on the Hawks second goal which was scored by Cary.

Holley is now 5-2 in the league and 9-3 overall.

The Hawks next host rival Kendall at 4:30 p.m. Saturday for Homecoming.

In one other G-R contest, Byron-Bergen blanked visiting Kendall 7-0.
