Avenging an earlier season overtime loss, Holley celebrated Homecoming by defeating rival Kendall 5-1 this evening in a Genesee Region League boys soccer game.

Holley jumped out to a 3-0 advantage in the first half ignited by a goal by Gabe Mendoza off an assist from Dylan McKay midway through the half.

The Hawks then broke the contest open with two goals in the final nine minutes of the first half on tallies by Derek McArthur and Mendoza.

Mendoza completed a three goal hat-trick when he tallied on a breakaway just 17 seconds into the second half upping the Holley advantage to 4-0 as Santino Morales earned the assist.
