Holley booters edge past Perry

Making a lone first half goal stand up, Holley trimmed visiting Perry 1-0 this evening in a non league boys soccer game.

Matt Wilson scored the goal for the Hawks off a assist from Erik Balys.

Brett Baxter made 9 saves to earn the shutout in goal.

Now at 2-0, Holley next visiting Batavia Monday in another non league contest.

Byron-Bergen Tournament

Jumping out to a commanding 5-0 lead in the first half, the host Bees went on to defeat Albion 6-0 this evening in the championship game of the Byron-Bergen boys soccer tournament.

Girls Volleyball
Medina went 2-2 today at the Albion tournament defeating Oakfield-Alabama/Elba and Newfane but losing to Roy-Hart and Akron.

Je’ne Brown, who had 22 kills on the day, was named to the All-Tournament team. Elle Gross added 7 kills and Maddie Williams 5 for the Mustangs while Camri King had 17 assists and 5 aces and Divere Brown 11 assists.
