Holley booters earn split on Homecoming

Building up a 3-0 half-time advantage, the Holley boys soccer team went on to score a 4-0 non league Homecoming victory over Wilson Magnet this evening.

John Mounts scored 2 goals and Matt Wilson 1 in the opening half for the Hawks s Erick Balys tallied in the second half.

Mounts, Nathan Nothnagle and Kohl Morgan all had assists for the Hawks.

The girls Homecoming contest saw Kendall defeat Holley 3-0.

Two quick goals just 30 seconds apart early in the second half by Michela Hanlon, off an assist from Madison Jacob, and by Taylor ReQua keyed Kendall to the win.

Brooke Lawson netted the Lady Eagles final goal off an assist from Brianna Wakefield.

Hannah Ulmen made 8 saves to earn the shutout in goal for the Lady Eagles.

Roy-Hart 2, Barker 0
Goals by Sophia LaPort and Kara Choate lifted Roy-Hart (2-5) to a 2-0 victory over Barker (0-7) in a Niagara-Orleans League girls game. Reanna Perkins earned the shutout in goal for the Lady Rams.

Wilson 2, Newfane 1
Wilson (3-2-1) upended defending champion Newfane (5-1) 2-1 on a pair of goals by Alexander Chiappone in a key N-O boys contest.

MST Prep 4, Medina/Lyndonville 2
Jumping out to a 2-0 lead, MST Prep went on to defeat Medina/Lyndonville 4-2 in a non league boys game at Lyndonville.

Trenton Jones scored off an assist from Ethan Leonard and Evan Silversmith tallied from Chase Stinson for the Medina/Lyndonville goals.

Holley’s Sal Solis goes for the ball as Zero Htoo comes in to defend for Wilson Magnet.
