Holley bests rival Kendall

Breaking away from an early 1-1 tie, Holley used back-to-back three-run scoring innings to key a 9-2 victory over visiting rival Kendall this afternoon as the Hawks stay perfect at 4-0 in Genesee Region League baseball competition.

Hits by winning pitcher Dylan Hillabush, Nick Passarell and Josh Porter keyed the three-run second inning which put Holley on top to stay.

Hillabush also had a double and Justin Parker a single in the three-run third inning which boosted the Hawks advantage to 7-1.

Hillabush, who had three hits on the day and scored three runs, went the distance on the mound allowing only 4 hits and striking out 10.

Holley is now 5-1 overall.
