Holley and Kendall score G-R boys soccer wins; Medina posts non league victory

Holley and Kendall both scored home field victories in Genesee Region League boys soccer action this evening.

Holley scored all 4 goals in the second half to blank Pembroke 4-0.

Cam Bates had the 3 goal hat-trick and Will Kruger scored 1 goal for the Hawks as Drew Carlson had a pair of assists.

Kendall rallied from a 1-0 half-time deficit to down Wheatland-Chili 3-2 and improve to 5-2 in G-R contests.

A pair of goals by Louis Conte rallied Kendall into a 2-1 lead and Josh Esposito followed up with what proved to be the game winner.

Medina 6, Buffalo Academy of Science 0

Five players contributed goals as Medina blanked host Buffalo Academy of Science 6-0 this afternoon in a non league game called at half-time due to stormy weather.

Cole Callard scored 2 goals for the Mustangs as Tyler Kroening, Jackson Moreland, David Gonzalez and Caden Kingsbury each netted 1.

Moreland and Alex Benz each had 2 assists and Gonzalez Cam Kenward 1.

Brady Christiaansen earned the shutout in goal.

Medina, which improves to 5-3 overall, next visits Albion in a Niagara-Orleans League contest on Thursday at 6:45 p.m.
