Holley and Kendall quartets earn G-R League girls soccer All-Star honors

Holley and Kendall have both placed four players on the Genesee Region League girls soccer All-Star team.

Holley is represented by senior forward Olivia Radford and senior midfielder Sarah Harrington along with junior midfielders Halee Passarell and Kayleigh Neale.

Kendall has placed senior midfielder Hailee Mitchell and senior defender Lizzie Sutphen along with junior midfielders Brianna Wakefield and Madison Jacob.

G-R All-Stars Brianna Wakefield, Lizzie Sutphen and Hailee Mitchell from Kendall.

Radford, Passarell, Mitchell and Sutphen are all repeat honorees.

Lyndonville/Medina is represented by sophomore forward Ella Lewis.

For the Lady Hawks, Passarell scored 11 goals and had 7 assists, Radford 10 goals and 8 assists, Neale 5 goals and 13 assists and Harrington 3 goals and 2 assists.

For the Lady Eagles, Mitchell had 20 goals and 9 assists, Wakefield 10 goals and 13 assists and Jacob 8 goals and 12 assists.

Lewis led the Lady Tigers with 14 goals and 1 assist.

G-R All-Stars Sarah Harrington (Holley), Madison Jacob (Kendall) and Ella Lewis (Lyndonville/Medina).

Holley is also represented on the Honorable Mention list by the defender trio of senior Rachel Killian, junior Allison Lyndaker and 8th grader Sam Bates.

Kendall’s Honorable Mention selections are senior goalie Katie Pearson and sophomore defender T’Mia Kitchings.

Lyndonville/Medina has placed the quartet of senior defenders Miranda Zelazny, Morgan Allis and Selena Austin along with junior goalie Gracie Cogovan on the Honorable Mention list.

Wheatland-Chili led the way on the All-Star team with five honorees including junior forward Niyah Rosado (48 goals, 15 assists), senior midfielders Lindsey Clar (21 goals, 25 assists) and Jenna LaMere (17 goals, 24 assists) along with senior defender Allison Wing and junior defender Hannah Beldue. Rosado, Clar, LaMere and Beldue are all repeat selections.

Byron-Bergen has a quartet of All-Stars including senior forward Miriam Tardy (29 goals, 10 assists), senior midfielders Kelsey Fuller (14 goals, 29 assists) and Melissa MacCowan (12 goals, 11 assists) and junior defender Bianca Brumsted. Tardy, Fuller and MacCowan are all repeat honorees.

Fuller and Mitchell shared G-R Player of the Year honors.

Rounding out the All-Star team is the Oakfield-Alabama/Elba trio of senior forward Kelly Mickey (12 goals, 6 assists), senior midfielder Isabella Riner and junior goalie Brynn Walczak (232 saves, 1.57 GAA) along with the Pembroke duo of junior midfielder Serene Calderon (7 goals, 5 assists) and freshman midfielder Karli Houseknecht, Notre Dame senior forward/defender Morgan Rhodes (11 goals, 4 assists) and Attica senior forward Emilt Tait (6 goals, 1 assist). Mickey, Calderon and Rhodes are all repeat honorees.

The Honorable Mention selections also include Eden Goff and Julianna Amesbury from Byron-Bergen, Erika Wuest, McKenzie Nichols and Natalie Whitmore from Alexander, Dakota Brinkman and Madison Harrington from Oakfield-Alabama/Elba, Autumn Mathisen and Rebeka Nickerson from Notre Dame, Emily Parker from Wheatland-Chili and Abigail Duttweiler from Pembroke,
