Holley and Kendall open tourney with wins
Holley defeated Barker 45-24 and host Kendall downed Medina 43-13 this evening in the opening round of the Lady Eagles girls basketball tournament.
Holley will now face Kendall in the championship game at 4 p.m. Saturday. Barker will take on Medina in the consolation game at 2 p.m.
Alivia Wolf scored 14, Zoey Wolf 7 and Samantha Bates and Jailyn Bishop 6 each to spark Holley. Bates also had 10 steals as Alivia and Zoey Wolf each had 8.
Kiera Dalton scored 9 to lead Barker.
Ava LaMay scored 15, Danielle Offhaus 9 and Brooke Rodas 7 to lead the way for Kendall which held a 21-2 lead at the half.
