Holley and Kendall girls play to tie in OT
Rivals Kendall and Holley battled to a 1-1 overtime tie in a Genesee Region League girls soccer game this evening at Holley.
Kendall took a 1-0 lead midway through the first half on a goal by Brianna Wakefield off an assist from Madison Jacob.
Holley pulled even at the 29 minute mark of the second half as Sam Bates scored off an assist from Hayley Skidmore.
Neither team could score in the two 10 minute overtime periods leaving the contest tied at 1-1.
Holley is now 4-1-1 and Kendall 1-3-1.

Lily Joe Carpenter scored the lone goal for host Lyndonville/Medina in the 4-1 G-R loss to Alexander.
