Holley, Kendall boys post Homecoming wins

Rebounding from an early 1-0 deficit, Holley battled back to claim a 3-1 Homecoming victory over Roy-Hart this afternoon in a non league boys soccer game.

Roy-Hart took the early lead on a goal by Peter Martillotta but the next three tallies and the win belonged to Holley.

The Hawks tied the game on a goal by Brad Kingdollar off an assist from Nathan Nothnagle.

Jared Strathearn then scored what proved to be the game winner giving the Hawks a 2-1 lead at the half.

Nothnagle scored a big insurance goal 13 minutes into the second half to help lock up the win for Holley which improves to 6-3-1.

Roy-Hart slips to 6-3.

Kendall 3, HAC 0
The Kendall boys likewise notched a Homecoming victory as the Eagles shutout HAC 3-0.

All of the scoring came in the final 15 minutes of the first half on consecutive goals by Michael McCue, Jacob Esposito and Brian Shaw.

Mason Kuhn made 6 saves in goal to earn his third shutout. (Click here to see Kendall’s defense keep HAC from getting a shot on goal.)

The Eagles improve to 5-2-2.
