Holley and Kendall boys drop G-R contests

Holley and Kendall both dropped Genesee Region League boys basketball games this evening.

Attica defeated Holley 72-47 and Byron-Bergen downed Kendall 71-46.

Attica jumped out to a big 26-9 first quarter lead as Clayton Bezon scored 14 of his game high 26 points and Jordan Anderson all 10 of his.

The Blue Devils went on to lead by margins of 43-25 at the half and 61-39 after three quarters. Cole Harding scored 8 of his 17 points in the second quarter and Jack Janes 10 of his 12 in the third period.

Destin Kuyal scored 21 to lead Holley as Ben Cox added 11.

Up 17-10 after the first quarter and 31-22 at the half, Byron-Bergen broke the game wide open in the third period by outpointing Kendall 27-7 to race away to a 58-29 advantage.

Braedyn Chambry took game high honors for the Bees with 24.

Louie Conte scored 12 and Austin Werth 11 to pace Kendall.
