Holley, Albion, Roy-Hart, Akron net wins

Improving to 3-1 (4-2 overall) Holley shutout visiting Attica 5-0 this afternoon in a Genesee Region League tennis match.

Aaron Strathearn, Cheyan Palmer and Kristina Yaroshchuk all scored straight set wins in singles competition to lead the way for Holley.

The Hawks also got victories from the doubles teams of Dalton Thurley-Steven Morgan and Eli Bibby-Jake Peters.

Albion 3, Newfane 2 1/2
Wins by Matthew Kovaleski and Victor Benjovsky at the first two singles spots and by the first doubles duo of Nate Smith-Chase Froman keyed Albion to a 3-2 1/2 Niagara-Orleans League victory over Newfane.

Zach Lundy won at third singles for Newfane which also got doubles wins from the duos of Alexa Littman-Erica Flagler and Noah Everett-Ben Pusateri.

Albion is now 4-2 and Newfane 1-6.

Akron takes two from Barker
Akron stayed perfect at 6-0 in N-O competition by sweeping a doubleheader from Barker (0-6) by the identical score of 5 1/2-0.

Nate Chubb, Brandon Meek and Will Chubb both scored a pair of singles wins for Akron.

The Tigers also got a twin bill sweep by the doubles duos of Morgan Wdowka-Skyler Earle, Maggie Leeds-Harry Fitzgerald and Sarah Hoefler-Shannon Miller.

Roy-Hart 4 1/2, Wilson 1
Straight sets wins by the singles trio of Patrick Sheelar, Madigan Lang and Evan Birkemeier led Roy-Hart past Wilson 4 1/2-1 as the Rams improve to 4-1.

Cameron VanBuren and Noah Kindron also posted a win at first doubles and Kayla Hagen and Kody Hayes at third doubles for the Rams.
