Hoag Library holds voter registration drive today and Wednesday
ALBION — There will be a voter registration drive today and Wednesday from 2 to 8 p.m. at Hoag Library, 134 South Main St.
Volunteers will be at the library with the voter registration forms. Feb. 14 is the last date to change a party affiliation to register in the 2020 primaries.
March 6 is the last day to register in the Village of Albion election on March 18.
The presidential primary is April 28 with the state and federal primaries scheduled for June 23. The general election will be Nov. 3.
Orleans County had 23,183 registered voters as of November 1 with the following party breakdown: 11,022 Republicans, 5,204 Democrats, 1,117 Independence Party members, 543 Conservatives, 133 Working Families Party members, 65 Libertarians, 64 Green Party members, 10 others, and 5,025 “blanks” or no party affiliation.
