Hilton nips Albion Raptors in U17 soccer
In a sea-saw battle, the Hilton Heat edged past the Albion Raptors 4-3 Wednesday in a Rochester District Youth Soccer League U17 Division game.
The Raptors jumped out to an early 2-0 lead on goals by Abby Scanlan and Kendall Derisley but the Heat closed the gap to 2-1 at the half.
Hilton then moved out to a 3-2 lead in the second half but Albion battled back to retie the contest on a goal by Scanlan off an assist from Aly Knaak.
However, the last goal and the win belonged to Hilton which netted the game winner with 15 minutes to go.
The Raptors are now 1-1 in division action.
