High wind warning in effect overnight until 11 a.m. Monday

Orleans County will face high winds overnight through 11 a.m. on Monday, the National Weather Service in Buffalo is reporting.

Orleans and Niagara counties both have been issued a high wind warning from 3 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Monday. The northwest winds will be 25 to 35miles per hour with gusts up to 60 miles per hour. The strongest winds are expected near the Lake Ontario shore.

The Weather Service has also issued a lakeshore flood warning for Orleans, Niagara and Monroe counties from 1 a.m. Monday until 5 a.m. Tuesday.
