High school leagues reach half-way point of season

Most area high school fall sports leagues reach the half-way point of the season this week with a number of key games on tap including Akron at Albion in girls soccer on Wednesday and a trio of Medina boys soccer contests (at Roy-Hart on Tuesday, at Kendall on Wednesday and home against Newfane on Friday).

The week will then be capped off by a huge battle for the B-North Division football lead as 3-0 Medina visits 3-0 Burgard on Saturday at All High Stadium in Buffalo.

Monday
