Hickory Ridge weekly results

The Hickory Ridge Golf Association held their two-man scramble recently. The event was a handicap event and the winners were John and Diane Colsanti who posted a net of 62.

Runners up were Deb Wood and Mike Farrell with a 64. Taking third were Rich Wheeler and partner and Jimmy Z and Marcia Zambito tying at 67.

Mother nature didn’t cooperate for one of the leagues this week as the Tuesday Ladies Night Out league was not played. A few ladies did venture out but not enough to post scores or affect standings,

The Pete Sullivan Sr Golf league shows Gene Ashe shooting low gross with a 74. Mike Cusimano took low net honors with a 63. Two birdies were carded by Ashe and one each for Rich Wheeler, John True and the mysterious Jimmy Z. Closest to the pin on number 6 was Steve Novak at 16’ 1” Wheeler had the closest second shot on number 4 at 4” 3”.

The Thursday Men’s Traveling was led by Zack Burgess who recorded at low gross of 42. Low net as shared by Jim Stedman and Dan Draper who had a 30 apiece. Birdies were by Adam Dresser, Jim Stedman, Jason Schrader, Dan Hartman and Ryan Wilkins.

The standings are tight with only a few weeks of scheduled play before pairings. The team of Flansberg and Stalker lead with 258 points with Burgess and Eaton close behind with 254 points. Denninston and Draper hold third with 218 points.
