Hickory Ridge weekly league results

The Tuesday Night Ladies Night Out league kicked this past week off at Hickory Ridge with a new face shooting low gross.

Taking low gross honors was Emily Ferguson who shot a 39. Low net went to Marcia Zambito with a 34 followed closely by Judy Schuth with a 36. Ferguson recorded the only birdie on the night.

Aleta Martin and Deb Wood continue to lead the standings with 64.5 points. Cheryl Ferguson and Vicki Brawn are in second with 60 points and Faye McNeil and Kathy Babbitt hold third with 52 points.

The Pete Sullivan Senior Golf League held its first day of league championship this past week. Scores were recorded but not reported as this is a two week event.

The next half of the league championship will be played on September 7 at which time the low gross and low net for the two events will be determined and recorded. Birdies were reported by Rich Turner who had four birds, John True with 3, and Jimmy Z, Gene Ashe, Dana Vosburgh and Elwyn Corser with one each.

The Thursday Mens Traveling League has the team of Flansberg and Stalker leading the pack with 196 points. Burgess and Eaton are in second with 186 points and Molisani and Soria with 184 points

Low gross was a tie between Kyle Smith and Wes Bedford with each shooting a 39. Low net was likewise a tie as Brian Payne, Zack Burgess and Pete Kaiser all posting a 30. Mike Hanlon and Randy Van Houten had two birdies each while Adam Dresser, Mike Farrell, Tim Hallenbeck, Scott Budde and Burgess each recorded one.
