On the links at Hickory Ridge the Tuesday Night Ladies Night Out league have no standings to report this week. Many ladies have makeups to do from weather related and other reasons cancelations. The games will be made up soon.

For the night, low gross Deb Wood with a 34. Laurie Freeman was second with 42. Freeman also led low net with 35. Kathy Babbitt, Dona Hazen and Patty Pifister each tied for second with 36. Wood had two birdies and Barb Passerall have one.

The Pete Sullivan Sr. League held their Orange Ball tournament. In the tourney, each group is given an orange ball at the start. The ball must be passed one from one player to another on throughout the 18 holes.

The orange ball player must record his score for both him and the orange ball. At the end of 18 holes score cards are turned in with the orange ball. If you had lost your ball, water, woods or whatever, you’re automatically out of the running. Only 3 of 13 teams lost their orange ball.

The J Team of Jeff Dobson, Jimmy Z, John Gerhardt and John (too good to be true) True finished ahead of the pack with a 79.

Low gross for the day was Rich Turner with a 72. Steve Novak (watch out for this one) again turned in low net.

Amazingly, there were 24 birdies on the day. Turner had 5, True (Blue) and Dana Voisburgh had 3, Ashe, Bob Demallie and Duane Engle 2 each, Gerhardt, Dan Morphet, Bill Stanton, Gordy Watt, Darryl Szklany and Dave Bieber 1 each.

For the Thursday Night Traveling League the standings took a bit of a shuffle this week. Now leading the pack is the team of Burgess and Eaton with 276 points. Last week’s leaders of Flansberg and Stalker are now in second with 266 points. Hanlon and Schrader and Molisai and Soria are tied for third with 222 points.

Low gross for this night was Jason Schrader with 36. Low net was Ryan Wilkins with 26. Wilkins and Schrader both carded birdies along with Jim Peglow, Zack Burgess, Mike Farrell and Dave Cotter.
