Hickory Ridge leagues have a busy week

It was another busy week on the links at Hickory Ridge with five leagues in action.

The Monday Night Men’s League reported Todd Cappotelli and Ryan Keller in first place with 147.5 points.  Frank Heinlein and Jim Carlson are in second with 135.5.  Third place is held down by Sal Deluca and Wayne Schiavone with 123.5 points, just half a point ahead of fourth place Gerald Furness and Ron Hering with 123.  Butch Barber and Scott Brooks hold fifth with 117.5 points.  Deluca was low gross with a 39 while Brooks took low net with 27.  Brooks had two birdies and Cappotelli one.

The Tuesday Ladies Night Out League had Deb Wood with low gross of 38.  Diane Hennekey had low gross with a 32 just one stroke ahead of Sue Gay’s and Linda Chrzan’s 33. Hennekey and Wood recorded the only birdies on the night.  First place in the standings is held by Vicki Brawn and Cheryl Ferguson with 57 points.  Close behind is the team of Brenda Powers and Marcia Zambito with 56.  Judy Schuth and Diane Hennekey hold third with 54.  Deb Birkins and Patty Pfister are in fourth with 50.5 points.

The Wednesday Night Men has the team of Brooks and Snyder leading with 70.5 points.  Pfister and Bessell are in second with 68.5 and Taylor and Tyler are in third with 63 points.  Berlew and Hazen hold the fourth spot with 57 points and Beattie and Zambito are in fifth with 57.  Low gross on the night was shared by Tim Hendrickson and Jim Zambito, both shooting 39 on the difficult back nine.  Zambito shared low net with Loyd Denniston 34.  Zambito recorded the only two birdies on the night.

Only six points separate the top three times on Thursday Night.  Dresser and Flansberg lead with 156 points just two points ahead of Bedford and Burgess who have 154.   Bennett and Budde take third with 150 points  Dibley and Flansberg with 144 pints and Drury and Nagy with 138 round out the top five teams.Gene Ashe had low gross with a 37 and tied low net with Dave Fisher at 29.  Birdies were recorded by Ashe, Jim Stedman, Wes Bedford, Loyd Denniston and Don Draper.

Although no scores were reported the Friday Night Mixed Couples did submit standings for the week.  Jim and Marcia Zambito continue to lead with 431 points.  Dave and Melissa Cotter are in second with 437 points.  Bill Fitzgerald and Faye McNeil hold third place with 447 points.  John and Diane Colsanti are in fourth with 450 points and Randy and Paula Knaak holding fifth with 453 points.
