John Carlson and Brian Hofstra lead the Wednesday Night League at Hickory Ridge again this week but the standings are tightening up.

The teams of  Larry Palmer and Dave Rau and Ray Daniels and his partner Tim Hendrickson are only one and a half points behind the leaders.  Mark and Sam Hackenburg and Daryl Sklany and Dick Taylor round out the top five.  All five teams are within four points of one another.

Low Gross last week were Palmer and AJ Gifaldi with 43 each.  Loyd Denniston took low net with a 30.  Palmer led with 5 pars with Tim Hendrickson recording the only birdie in the round.

The race for the lead in the Thursday Men’s Traveling League is not as close with Ray Daniels and Ken Hinkson extending their league lead.

Pete Kaiser and his partner Steve Tipton are in second, Dave Fisher and Tom Hennekey are third, Patrick Drury and Gabe Nagy fourth and Adam Dresser and Ben Flansberg and the team of Josh Bennett and Scott Budde tied for fifth.

Daniels had low gross for the week with a 40.   Dresser’s 27 was good for low net. There was a birdie parade last week as Todd Draper, John Foos, Jake Froman and Patrick Drury each recorded one. Gifaldi led with 5 pars.
