Hickory Ridge league action is winding down

Golf leagues at Hickory Ridge are winding down for the season.  Most leagues finish in the next few weeks with only position and final rounds left on the schedule.

On Monday, the Monday Nite Bar Guys reported scores but no standings.  In the Senior Division Mark Condolucci had low gross with 43.  Darryl Szklany posted low net with 37.  AJ Gifaldi continued his hot hand with low gross of 41 in the Junior Division.  Chris Smith and Spanky Christ shared low net with 35.  Jeff Shampine led the birdie parade with two followed by Gifaldi, Kevin Keys, Tim McCollough and Rod Finnefrock with one each.

The Ladies Night Out League has a familiar name for low gross.  Deb Wood shot a 45 with Judy Schuth close behind with 46.  Patty Pfister had low net with 37 with Karen Berlew and Cheryl Ferguson netting 39 each. Birdies were recorded by Berlew and Diane Hennekey.  Schuth and Hennekey are in first place with 67 points.  Ferguson and Vicki Brawn are in second with 65 followed by Brenda Powers and Marcia Zambito with 61.

The standings for the  Men’s Thursday Night League are knotted up with the team of Dibley and Flansberg tied with Drury and Nagy with 180 points each.  Close behind are Bennett and Budde tied with Bedford and Burgess at 176 points.  Dresser and Flansberg are in fifth with 170 points.  Gene Ashe shot low gross with 41 and Scooter Burgess had low net with 31.  Barry Flansberg had two birdies on the night.

Heading into the position round this week the team of Jim and Marci Zambito sit atop the Friday Night Mixed Couples Fun League with 558 points.  Dave and Melissa Cotter are in second with 563 and Randy and Paula Knaak hold down third with 575.
