Hickory Ridge Cup champions crowned

With the weather finally cooperating and a large turnout on hand, the prestigious Hickory Ridge Cup was the first member tournament of the season at Hickory Ridge Golf Resort.
The Women’s Division was led by Deb Wood who posted a net 69. Dona Hazen took second with a net 74.
In the Men’s Division, Gary Wood had a net 66 to take the title. He was followed closely by Loyd Denniston who carded a net 67. John True and Tim Hendrickson tied for third with net 70s.
The golf leagues are off to a slow start this year due to the rain and the wet conditions. Results will be submitted when handicaps are established.
Expanded this year is the bocci league. New courts have allowed for more teams with twenty participating on Tuesday nights.
