Heil sets record at Fleet Feet meet

Junior Holly Heil set a new Fleet Feet meet record in the 400 with a winning time of 1:00.65 for the Medina/Lyndonville girls track team at All-High Stadium in Buffalo today.

Heil also placed third in the 800 and teamed up with Elizabeth Newman, Chelsea Donley and Morgan Roach to place fifth in the 1600 relay.

Donley also placed fourth in the 400 hurdles and sixth in the 100 hurdles.

In the boys competition for Medina/Lyndonville, Matt Cochrane placed second in the 400 and fourth in the triple jump, Derek Donley fifth in the 400 hurdles, Dan Heil fifth in the 1600 and Jalin Cooper sixth in the 200.

Cochrane, Donley, Cooper and Zach Harris also teamed up to place sixth in the 400 relay.
