Heavy rain in forecast for today
The National Weather Service says a half to three quarters of an inch are possible today in Orleans County and Western New York.
Multiple rounds of moderate to heavy rain can be expected as low pressure will pass by just to the south.
“While the entire region could receive heavy rain at times today, the greatest risk will be found from the Finger Lakes to the eastern Lake Ontario region between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m.,” the Weather Service said.
The high temperature is forecast for 67 today.
