Hearts close in on Euchre League lead

Runner-up Sacred Heart combined a 39-31 win over JR Wilson with front-running Legion’s 37-33 loss to Vets Club Monday to close to within two points of the Medina Euchre League lead.

Now in front by a slender two point margin, Legion is 794-746 on the season followed by Sacred Heart 792-748, JR Wilson 775-765 and Vets Club 719-821.

League competition continues on March 13 with Legion at Vets Club and Sacred Heart at JR Wilson.
