Hawks will open Class C2 sectionals at home
Coming off its best regular season in a dozen years, Holley has earned a home game to open this coming week’s Section V Class C2 boys basketball playoffs.
Holley, which is seeded No. 6 after posting a 10-10 regular season record, will host No. 11 Pavilion (2-18) at 7 p.m. Tuesday.
The victor will then visit No. 3 Pembroke (14-6) in the quarterfinals on Friday.
Also in Class C2, No. 10 Kendall (6-14) will visit No. 7 Cuba-Rushford (10-9) at 7 p.m. Tuesday.
The winner will visit No. 2 Oakfield-Alabama (19-1) on Friday.
In a Class C3 opener on Tuesday, No. 11 Lyndonville (1-18) will visit No. 6 HAC (12-7) at 7 p.m.
The winner will visit No. 3 Dundee/Bradford (14-5) on Friday.
