Hawks seek win to earn playoff berth
Win and you are in the sectional playoffs. That is the situation facing the Holley football squad when the Hawks visit CG Finney on Tuesday to close out the 8 Man Division regular season.
Holley is currently at 1-3 and Finney 2-2. A win will pull Holley even with Finney and propel the Hawks into the playoffs by virtue of the head-to-head win. A loss will send the Falcons into the playoffs.
“It comes down to the Finney game,” said Holley Coach Wil Prince. “For us it’s making the playoffs. That has been our goal.”
Offensively Holley has been led by running back Jacob Affronti who has scored 10 touchdowns.
