Erupting for three touchdowns in the opening quarter, Holley went on to roll past the visiting Newfield Trojans from Section IV 48-0 this afternoon in a non league 8 Man football game that was ended at halftime by mutual agreement.

Quarterback Destin Kuyal hooked up with Vinny Golisano for a pair of touchdown passes covering 33 and 20 yards and also ran 5 yards himself for another TD to spark the Hawks out to a commanding 22-0 first quarter lead. Kuyal and Hunter Jewell-Smith added two-point conversion carries.

An interception by Kuyal and a fumble recovery by Golisano helped set up the first two scores.

Keeping the hot hand, Kuyal threw two more touchdown passes in the second quarter connecting with Golisano for 51 yards and with Jacob Pitcher for 61 yards. Kuyal also added a two-point conversion pass to Golisano as Smith and Avante Walker both had two-point conversion carries.

Quincy McClinsey had a fumble recovery helping to set up the second TD of the quarter.

The Hawks also picked up two points via a safety.

Improving to 2-0, the Hawks next visit Red Jacket at noon next Saturday.
